ARMY GREEN EMBROIDERED JACKET AND AN ODE TO MY COUNTERTOPS

First things first. I would like to take a moment of silence for my green countertops, about two shades lighter than this jacket I’m wearing, that praise Jesus HALLELUJAH, are going home to be with Him today. Yes, I am being very dramatic. But try living for seven years with countertops that look a lot like your grandma’s split pea soup, and you might be feeling the same way. (If you want a visual the countertops in this post look exactly like mine… 😛 ) So here’s an ode to my countertops. Thank you for humbling me every single day. And that’s about all I got. Except I’m sure I will laugh at them later and show my kids the pictures I took to spare their memory forever in my heart. You better believe I’ll be doing a party dance tonight when I get home from work and have granite countertops that don’t remind me of throw-up every time I see them. As a matter of fact the workers are already here, and those darn green things are in the process of being removed. #byefelicia

Alright on to why you’re really here. Well maybe. I mean you might have really just come to read my ode to my countertops. But if you like fashion and good deals then you might also want to know about this jacket. An army green jacket would be on my list of closet must haves. And this one, well this one is even better than your regular old army green jacket. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know embroidery is one of the current number one trends right now. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have gotten on it every time I wear it. It’s the perfect way to dress up your basic everyday outfit. And ain’t mad that it’s only $30! I am wearing a size small if anyone is wondering.

Also these black boots are from Zara but I found a similar pair at Nordstrom that are on MAJOR sale right now! These are probably my most worn boots in my closet! They pair so well with everything from leggings to jeans to dresses. So snag yourself a pair before they sell out!
