MAKE A STATEMENT

You guys. I am in love with this top. I saw it a few times on Instagram, and I finally decided I needed to get it for myself. There’s something so classic and sophisticated about it but the sleeves make a huge statement, and I love putting together an outfit that does just that. I was reading an article on the new (or continuing trends) in 2017, and this top checks off three of the boxes! One of the trends for 2017 is gingham tops. The other two are that ruffles are in, and tops should be all about the sleeves. Check, check, and check!

How amazing are these velvet booties from Zooshoo?! I have been adding velvet to all different aspects of my wardrobe but this is the first pair of velvet shoes I have. They are the perfect color blue to match so many different looks. And my new couch might be exactly the same color. 😛 This top and booties are perfect for making a statement paired together or separately!

I have slowly been working on getting my living room redecorated. I have all the ideas down that I want to do and now I just have to find the right pieces to fit those ideas. And save up some more money. I had no idea decorating was so expensive! I have been finding some good deals at Home Good, Overstock and Wayfair.  So far I have my couch and then a rug and coffee table are coming next week! But you guys I want this chair SO bad. Or one of these ones in my dreams. (Seriously that much for a chair?!) So I guess I’ll be saving up for a little for something like the first one. Or I’m really hoping that I magically find one for way less at Home Goods! (If you’re local and see a dusty rose chair, tell me. 😛 ) I mean I cannot pass up on the fact that my hubby said I can have a pink chair in our house, right?!
