Last Tuesday, we went on a little adventure in L.A. We have been trying to do fun things together on our days off together, and we always have the best time! I had NO idea this place existed! If I had, I totally would’ve gone a long time ago. When I visited New York, one of my favorite things we did was going to the Top of the Rock and seeing the 360 degree view of the city so when I found out we had something similar here, I couldn’t get there fast enough.
Skyspace L.A. is located in the heart of downtown L.A at the top of the U.S. Bank building, and the view did not disappoint! You can look out over all of Los Angeles, and it’s crazy how far the buildings go on for. There’s even a glass slide that goes down from the 70th to the 69th floor and is on the outside of the building. We ended up staying up there for almost two hours, just enjoying the view and snapping photos. It was so cool watching the view change as the sun started going down, and all the lights started coming on.
Ok story time. I found out about this place on @losangelesfinds Instagram, and there was a photo of some girls hanging on the glass so I obviously had to reenact it. 😛 Well as I was hanging on the glass, a girl on the next level up was taking a photo of Ben taking the photo out the window. She even told me to do it again so she could take more. Then she ended up finding us inside and texting me the photo, and we ended up with the photo below. Pretty epic if you ask me. 😛 And I swear it wasn’t as scary as it looks.
I totally recommend going here if you live in L.A. or if you’re visiting! Just FYI, it does cost to go up! But it makes for a fun outing or date night. You can get all the info on their website here!
xoxo,
Christine
