LIGHTWEIGHT TURTLE NECK

This lightweight turtle neck top is the perfect pick for someone like me who lives where it’s hot! Because most of the times, even in the winter, a regular turtleneck only works on our extra cold days. You know when it’s 60 degrees out. So when I saw this Topshop one for a steal at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I decided it would be a good purchase because the material is so thin that I can even still wear it on summer nights, and in the winter, I’ll be able to layer it, be cute, and not too hot. I love a good casual outfit like this. It’s simple, but still looks classic and put together!

I had the best birthday! Thank you all so much for you birthday love! I saw one of my best friends during the day, went for nice long hill run (yes, that’s my idea of a good day 😛 ), and then Ben came home with a bouquet of thirty sunflowers (my fave) and was playing T-Swift’s “22” when I opened the door. (Like helllllo, cutest thing ever.) Then he took me out to our new fave restaurant in San Clemente, South of Nick’s. It was the best day, and I felt so loved and special! The celebrations continue the rest of the weekend, and if you follow along on Snapchat (mox_ie), you’ll probably get a peek at all the fun. We are getting a duffy boat tonight with some friends, going out line dancing tomorrow and then a family party Sunday! I’m so looking forward to the weekend.

I attended a fun blogger even last night, a yoga class on the beach, with a bunch of other bloggers, and it was so much fun! I finally met a local blogger, Danielle, that I’ve been wanting to meet, and we totally hit it off, and hopefully will be hanging out together soon. I’ve been praying for a friend who lives locally and loves blogging and Jesus, and God totally answered my prayers. Happy birthday to me! 😛
