Picture this. You find the cutest romper at Forever 21 and are SO excited about it that you’re already planning where you’re gonna wear it, what shoes are going to match it the best and that your new purse you just got will match it perfectly. (C’mon, I can’t be the only one who’s planning my entire outfit with a piece before I even know how it fits or if I like it.) You put it on and turn around and ummmm hi, cute romper. Are you hungry? Because kinda looks like you are. 😛 And unless I’m heading to the beach, I’m pretty sure I don’t really want everyone to see what you’re snacking on. OH, and did I mention I’m really short. Like 5’2″ short. And so I can’t imagine what it looks like on someone taller than I am. Hands up if this has ever happened to you. (On second thought, don’t put them up if you’re still in the romper. Cause then your bootie will DEF be hanging out.) 😛

But seriously how come all of the cute rompers I see around are like that?! I get so annoyed. So you can imagine my utter joy when I found this one at Zara. That is classy but still shows a little skin, just skin you don’t mind showing off. I am actually super sad though that this one isn’t available online! I did just get it in the store last week though. And I linked a few below from Nordstrom that look to be similar to this one with the length on the legs! I feel like that is sort of the key with rompers is making sure there is enough length of fabric between the crotch seam and the bottom hemline. This one is lined too so I know that definitely helps. And if you have a place where you have a found some good rompers, I’d love to hear!

P.S. I’m trying to be a cool girl and learn how to wing my eyeliner. But seriously it’s hard. My cute little photographer, Chloe, did it for me for this shoot. I don’t quite know how all you girls do it errrrday. I think part of my problem is that I’m a little bit impatient and a little bit not a perfectionist. But my goal is to become a pro at it! So if you have any tricks, tell me!

Ben had a big test Wednesday for the first part of his fire academy, and he rocked it! I’m taking this weekend off so we can actually spend a whole weekend together, and Saturday we are going to the beach for a bonfire with all of his fire buddies and their wives and families! It’ll be so nice to meet everyone and celebrate with them this weekend.

Wishing you a happy Friday!

xoxo,

Christine
