HIGH-WAISTED FLORAL SUIT

Of course the one time I’m posting a swimsuit it happens to be cold here! It has been 85 and sunny the last few weeks, and then this weekend it has been cool and rainy! But that doesn’t mean I don’t get excited for summer. I seriously LOVE buying bathing suits! Every summer I think I buy at least seven. 😛 This is my first high-waisted two piece, and I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it on because I’m so short, and I felt like they might look better on taller girls! But I love it! (I should have known because I thought the same thing about one pieces, and I have like five of those.) I love how flattering and feminine it is and how it hits at just the right spot to accentuate your waist! This suit is super affordable, and it comes in yellow too!

So story time. When we took these photos a few weeks ago when we were staying in Laguna Beach, I had been waiting all day for the perfect time to take photos on the beach when the light was just right. Well smarty pants over here wasn’t thinking about the fact that when the sun starts setting and the light is good, everyone is probably going to be coming to watch the sunset. So as we are walking down to take photos, everyone is parking and walking down to watch the sunset. (Mind you, I still had a different outfit on and had to change into my suit.) For a minute I thought about not doing the shoot at all because obviously people would be staring. We walked down to the beach and there was a little alcove in the rocks so I figured what the heck and changed into my suit. All the while my hubby was shaking his head at me. #typical. And then I just decided not to care that everyone was watching and do the shoot. I seriously wonder though what people think when they see me out taking photos. Like no I’m not famous. And no I’m not that into myself. Keep walking. 😛

I hope you all had the best weekend! If you followed along on Snap (MOX_IE), you saw that I got my baby sis ready for prom, and Ben came home for weekend. We took my sister and her date to their prom and had a fun date night after. Sunday I helped host a baby shower for my best friend and thankfully it was coed so Ben got to come too! He’s off for week two of the academy, and I’m surprised that I’m feeling pretty good emotionally so far about it! Seriously must be by the grace of God because sometimes I can be a hot mess. 😛
