Happy Monday! Sooo this new jacket from SheIn is basically a blanket that masquerades as a jacket that’s acceptable to wear in public. Which in my opinion is basically the best thing ever. And I’m so happy that it’s finally cold enough here to be wearing jackets and boots even during the day! If you are in need of some over the knee boots, these are my FAVE. They are the closet thing I have found to the Stuart Weitzman ones, but they are a fraction of the cost.

Blogger confessions: there’s a new shopping center being built by my house and on the weekends it’s void of leering construction workers (yes, I’ve done them when they are there too) and it’s the perfect spot to take photos. I’m gonna be real sad when they finish it, and people are there, and I start being all awkward. (Seriously you should see some of my faces I make when I’m awkward. Just a whole lot of variations of RBF.) Because taking pictures by yourself in public is actually the worst. 😛

I don’t know about you but I’ve been enjoying the last few days soooo much. I worked like crazy before Christmas so it has been so nice to have a little break. I don’t go back to work until tomorrow and only work a few days this week so I’m looking forward to that! I had the best Christmas with my family. Ben had to work Christmas Eve and didn’t get home until Christmas morning, and that was the first time he’s been away for part of a big holiday. It was hard to not have him around sharing in some of the fun but I know with his career it will be like that a lot so I feel really blessed that even though it’s always better when he’s home, I am really blessed to have two amazing families to spend it with. Christmas Day, we had all Ben’s siblings (there are EIGHT of them!) and his parents over for breakfast, and then later we went to my gram’s with my family. It was the best!
