I walked out of the bathroom in this outfit right before we were leaving to do photos to ask Ben which lip color he liked better with it, and he just stared and said you can do whatever you want because that looks goooood. 😛 (And that’s saying something because he definitely will share his opinions about my outfits when I ask 😛 )And that’s exactly how it should be I think! You should put on an outfit and walk out and feel so good that it doesn’t matter if your lips are purple or red because the outfit just works. I just got this body suit from Ami Clubwear, and decided I wanted do more of a street style look with it so it paired perfectly with these jeans (which are THE most comfortable ever) and these new booties from Charlotte Russe. I have been looking for a slim boot like this with a chunkier heel, and I’m in love with these ones! You’ll probably see them around here a lot!

I worked a TWELVE hour day yesterday! I don’t normally do that, and I’m not sure how it happened. But I’m happy to have a shorter day today with just a few clients this afternoon. It’s crazy though, even though I may work long hours sometimes, it never feels long because the day goes by so fast just with talking to my clients and coworkers and laughing and catching up on life and making people feel pretty.

I’m getting so excited for the weekend! We are heading to San Diego for the Marine Corps Ball, and I look forward to it every year. Ben puts on his dress blues, and I’m a super sucker for men in uniforms, espeically my hubby. Guess I’m lucky that all his career paths point to a lifetime of uniforms!
