Palm Fronds and Coffee Dates

Last week, I went to the Orange Circle with one of my bff’s and old roommate to do some photos. We, of course, had to take a picture together too! That self timer is magic I tell ya. 😛 Laughs and coffee are basically our life together so that last photo is perfect. And you should probably go check out Gemma’s blog and Instagram.

So I don’t know if you’ve noticed at all but I have been all into the tropical print this year. We are going to Cancun next month, and all I want to buy is flowy, tropical looking pieces. So when I saw these pants, I just knew they would be my summer jam. Along with iced coffee (black with half and half, two Splenda and cinnamon, please.) Plus you guys will flip when you see the price. Actually you should probably just browse the whole Sheinside website. I have three pieces from them so far, and to be honest I first thought they might not be made that great because of the price. But I was shocked at how great the quality really is! These pants are so comfy, the perfect stretchy material, kind of like leggings but better because you can bend over and not worry about a thing. 😛 Also, this braid is so easy but one of my all time faves because it just looks so cool! I’ll probably do a tutorial on it soon so be on the lookout! OH P.S. If you don’t own one of these bralettes, you need one. I mean just think how less exciting the back of my shirt would look without it. 😛 I wear it all the time under everything.

How was everyone’s weekend? We celebrated our mamas of course. We had my parents over to our apartment for coffee and scones and then later, we took Ben’s mom out for froyo. We love our moms, and I’m super thankful to have a mother-in-law who is so great!

We are coming up on the home stretch of Ben’s fire academy, and I cannot wait. This season of life has been hard. We don’t see each other much, and when we do, it’s mostly just getting stuff done around the house, cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. If I make it through the week without a good cry sesh, it’s a good week. 😛 SO when everything is done, we’re going to Cancun to celebrate! We are going back to the same place we went for our honeymoon on our first ever vacation together, and I just can’t wait to sit on the beach and get some one on one time with my hubs!
