Chinese Staircase Braid Tutorial

Hi guyyyyys! How was your Christmas?!?! Mine was absolutely wonderful, and I’m still soaking in the pleasures of relaxation! I’m currently sitting in bed and drinking coffee out of my cute new California Starbucks mug my hubby got me. We had the best time with our family. Christmas Eve we spent with Ben’s family at his parents (and my family came over too!). We all went to the Christmas Eve Candlelight service and then back to my in-laws for soups and a White Elephant gift exchange. You’ll never guess what we won in the gift exchange! A flatscreen TV. That works. I know. Crazy. I seriously can’t believe it. We are not crazy TV people so we had a super old box TV. 😛 I guess Ben’s uncle got a new TV and needed a place to get rid of it. I might have chosen getting-a-hundred-dollars-for-it-on-Craigs-List but I really ain’t complaining about taking-it-to-the-White-Elephant-gift-exchange instead. Literally made our day. We’ve wanted one forever but didn’t want to spend the money since we don’t watch a ton of TV, and it’s not a huge priority! Christmas Day, we hosted my family at my apartment and had the best time just sitting around, and sharing in our favorite pasttimes, drinking coffee and eating ice cream. If you’re wondering where I got it, it’s literally running through the veins of everyone in my family. I hope you all had the best best best Christmas with your families!
