First, I’d like to say thank you to all of my wonderful readers who follow along with my blog. Last night, one of my lovely followers sent me a picture of her dip dyed flannel she made by following my tutorial, and it literally MADE my night! It’s so wonderful to know that people are following along and reading and interacting! Because as much as I’d love to have this journal of photos of me and my life happenings, doing this just for me would be boring! I do it for all of you and of course, because I love it! So if you feel inspired or have any questions or try a hairstyle or other tutorial I post, let me know! I love hearing from you all!

Sometimes I get a little jelly of people who live where it’s cold and get to put on multiple layers and scarves and big ponchos and jackets. You can do so much with different layers, and it can make an outfit so interesting. But then I remember that means it’s cold. And me and cold don’t really get along too well. I die here in Orange County on our coldest days. So I can’t really imagine if it were actually for real cold. I’d probably curl up in a sauna and never come out all winter.  (I LOVE saunas bee tee dubs.) All that brings us to today’s outfit. Layers, So Cal style! I love playing with lengths on layers so this long kimono works perfectly with the leather vest. If you would like to see a tutorial on how to do a similar hairstyle to the one I have in these photos go here. (Just braid less hair on the sides, and twist hair into a bun instead of a a messy bun!).

What are you all doing for Thanksgiving?! Relaxing with your families and eating yummy foods, I hope! Ben and I are probably working out in the am (shhhh don’t tell him!), and then we will be heading over to his parents for the day. My family is coming over too! I love that our parents get along so great so that on some holidays, we all hang out together and only have to go to one house!

P.S. Somehow I convinced my hubby that we should get our Christmas tree today. Not sure how, since on Sunday we legit fought about turning on Christmas music before Thanksgiving was over. But I did. And I’m sooo excited! Eeek. It’s finally starting to feel like fall. I love the holidays so so so much. Perfect time for cuddles and endless cups of coffee (oh wait that’s every day) and falling in love.
