Marine Corps Ball

You. Guys. I’m obsessed  with this dress. I literally don’t think I have ever put something on that I’ve loved so much other than my wedding dress. The material. The fit. The style. All love.

I wore this dress over the weekend for the Marine Corps ball. When the dress arrived, I KNEW I had to shoot it before we went to the ball. So Saturday morning the day of the ball, I got up early and got ready, and my bff was so great to shoot these for me. After, I headed down to San Diego to meet up with Ben and finish getting ready. ( I was actually surprised at how good my hair and makeup stayed for having done it so early in the morning! I did end up re-pinning my hair but just back to the way it was because I loved it so much!)

We literally had THE best time! It was hands down our favorite of the three balls that we have been to. It was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. I always love getting to be a part of it. The ball is basically kind of like a wedding as far as set up and stuff but they do a whole ceremony honoring the Marine Corps, celebrating its birthday and have a guest of honor that speaks. And then my favorite part of course, dancing. 😛

After the ball, we weren’t quite ready to be done so we changed our clothes, fueled up on coffee and went out for some more dancing!

I love that every year, I have an excuse to put on a gorgeous dress and go out with my hubby in his uniform. It’s the best.
