The Cold Shoulder

JK. I love you all and would NEVER give you the cold shoulder. 😛 I just was trying to think of a clever title, and that’s all I could come up with. And hey, if it was cold out, my shoulders might actually be cold. Ok, enough of that. I want ya’ll to take a second to appreciate this dress with me. I am very picky about strapless type tops. I don’t tend to wear just the regular old tube ones very often because they can be not very flattering sometimes. But THIS one. Oh my goodness, I just love it. It has enough going on on top to give it shape and interest. And I love the crochet detailing so much. I decided to go with a one color look, but add a pop of color with my cute Forever heels in a different shade of blue. This look is simple but made me feel so feminine, and sometimes simplicity is just what you need in an outfit! Unfortunately I got this dress at a Windsor sample sale so it’s not available anymore, but there are some similar ones linked above. (Actually it was really fortunate for me. It was $7. I know, crazy right?! If you live in L.A., make sure to follow them on Instagram and be on the lookout for the next one!) I’ve also decided it’s time to invest in some more pieces like this because I can’t wear this dress ALLLL the time. 😛

I just wanted to say thank you to every single one of you who commented and responded to my post on Monday. If you didn’t read it, you can check it out here. It was definitely a nerve-wracking thing to write about, and so I’m so thankful for all of you who read it and had such great feed back. I got so many texts and comments about it, and it made it all worth it. Thank you to all of you for supporting me always. I’m forever grateful!

How has everyone’s week been? I cannot tell you how AMAZING it was to have a long weekend. I usually work Saturdays so I don’t ever get a full weekend with the hubs. And I was SO excited. Like seriously, is this what normal people have time for when they have a full day together?! We had the perfect mixture of fun and getting stuff done around the house. And I cannot wait until we have more days like that this summer. Speaking of summer, I got this perfect little thing  in the mail yesterday, and I think I’m officially ready for our Cancun trip. Just FYI, if you are thinking about buying that suit, it is made with very thin material. Super cute and perfect for a summer trip with your man but not something you’d find me wearing to a backyard pool party with the fam. 😛

Hope you all have the best day! My week hasn’t been crazy busy at work, and I’m thankful for a little break!

You all are the best! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram here and subscribe to my YouTube channel for all my hair tutorials!
